Boxing Day Classic between the Marlies and the Bulldogs at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Big win by the Bulldogs in OT, 2-1 in a game that started out pretty slow but got more exciting as it went on.

My nephew and I watched as the Marlies win 3-2 against the St. John's IceCaps at the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto.

Gerry Dee, November 2nd 2013

I saw Gerry Dee last June at Yuk Yuk's, but my girlfriend and I just had to go see him again, this time in Mississauga. One of the funniest comedy shows I've seen, more than half of the evening was spent with Gerry making fun of people in the crowd. Just a funny evening all around, and a must-see every time he's in town.

Graham Chittenden was great as the host.

Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson, October 18th 2013

Excellent theatrical show at Massey Hall by Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson. I wasn't sure what to expect coming in but it was an amazing show both musically and visually, with a narrative being done as Ian Anderson and his crew played Thick as a Brick 1 and 2.

I wish more people were like Doug Stanhope. Watching him perform at the Opera House was amazing even if it is a weird venue for comedy since it was standing only. His views on life are just so raw and to the point. His views on charities especially were spot on. I'll definitely be seeing him again the next time he's in Canada.

Amazing 25th anniversary of Danzig show at the Docks in Toronto (which is one of the worst venues in the city). Sub-par sound, terrible venue location, overpriced parking but fucking awesome show. I was really curious to see if Danzig could still rock and even at 58 he brought it and then some. Awesome.

Excellent comedy show at Yuk Yuk's in Toronto by Gerry Dee (star of the awesome show Mr. D on CBC) - pretty much the perfect funny evening you wish would happen every time you go to Yuk Yuk's: no dicks in the audience, great crowd that laughed and comedians that kill it.  Jean-Paul rocked it as the MC and and Patrick Haye was awesome as the opening act.

Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, March 23rd 2013

Amazing concert, Nick Cave brought it to Massey Hall in Toronto with great songs, awesome crowd interaction and a superb evening overall.

Toronto Rock vs Buffalo Bandits

Rock lose 15-13 against their rivals the Bandits. Great effort at the end to come back but it fell short.

Seems legit.
