Death in June put on an excellent show in this small and intimate venue named Nocturne Nightclub on Queen St. West (it doesn't even have a sign on the door, and we had to be emailed the secret location the night before). This was the first time Death in June performed in Toronto, and it was amazing. Vierance and Herr Lounge Corps did a great job of setting up the mood for Douglas Pearce, who then knocked it out of the park (the sound was great, which I find is hit or miss for a small venue).
Huge win by the Jays, 12-2 against the Texas Rangers. Grand Slam by Encarnacion, an amazing catch by Kevin Pillar... What a game! Probably one of the best game I've ever seen at the Rogers Centre.
